I bought myself a graduation present, my first new yo-yo since 2008. I stopped yo-yoing about three years ago after my academics got the best of me but now that I have someone to teach (and very soon a B.S. in physics), it feels like I never stopped throwing. Having purchased my first 888 back at it’s midnight reveal at the 2008 World Yo-Yo Contest, it has remained my favorite albeit underused. Some dislike undersized yo-yos but I prefer them. Can’t wait ‘till it arrives, and I can’t wait until I can compete like I dreamed of doing years ago. Well yo-yo community, it’s good to be back.
